MCA Endorses MITRE Redevelopment Applications

On January 28, 2018, the Executive Committee of MCA's Board of Directors approved a resolution from MCA's Planning and Zoning Committee that endorses MITRE's redevelopment applications. The resolution notes that MITRE worked constructively with MCA's Planning and Zoning Committee and surrounding Homeowners Associations to address their concerns regarding massing and porosity, roadways, pedestrian access and connectivity, on-site parking, and contributions to parks, athletic fields and public facilities. The applications will be considered by the Fairfax County Planning Commission at a public hearing on February 1, 2018. To view the resolution, go to the Documents tab, and click Planning and Zoning.
